1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using BadyApp ("the App", "we", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

These Terms apply to all users of the App, including group owners, admins, and members.

2. Description of Service

BadyApp is a private group management application for badminton communities. It provides tools for:

• Scheduling and managing badminton sessions
• Tracking player attendance and registrations
• Internal cost-splitting and shuttle inventory management
• Group communication via push notifications and in-app group chat
• Player statistics, performance tracking, and group leaderboards
• Fitness insights including recovery scores, session quality, and training load analysis via Apple Health data (Game Insights Pro, iOS only)

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use BadyApp. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If we become aware that a user is under 13, we will delete their account promptly.

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure.

4. User Accounts

You may create one account per person. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

• Do not share your login credentials with others
• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account
• You may sign in via Google Sign-In, Sign in with Apple, or email and password

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to use BadyApp to:

• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Provide false or misleading information
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' data or the App's infrastructure
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's operation
• Post offensive, inappropriate, or spam content in group chat

Group chat messages are visible to all members of your group. Admins may delete messages or mute users who violate these terms. Users may report messages using the in-app report feature; reported messages are reviewed by group admins.

6. Group Management

BadyApp operates on a group-based model. Each group has an owner and may have admins who manage group membership and activities.

• Group owners and admins have authority to approve, freeze, or remove members from their group at their discretion
• Members agree to abide by their group's rules as set by the owner
• We are not responsible for decisions made by group owners or admins within their groups
• If you are removed from a group, your historical records within that group may be retained for group financial integrity

We do not mediate disputes between group members. Any disagreements about group management are between the parties involved.

7. Financial Ledger & Cost Splitting

BadyApp provides an internal ledger for tracking shared costs within a group (e.g., court fees, shuttle costs). This is a convenience tool only.

• All financial records are internal to your group and for informational purposes only
• BadyApp does not process, hold, or transfer real money
• We are not liable for any disputes arising from cost-splitting calculations or ledger balances
• Transaction records are retained for group accounting integrity and may be retained after account deletion

8. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

BadyApp offers an optional premium subscription — Game Insights Pro — which unlocks advanced fitness insights including recovery scores, HRV analysis, sleep quality, and training load tracking.

• Subscriptions are offered on a monthly or annual basis and are billed through the Apple App Store
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
• A free trial, where offered, converts automatically to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless cancelled beforehand
• To manage or cancel your subscription, go to App Store → Account → Subscriptions
• We do not process payments directly — all billing is handled by Apple. Refunds are subject to Apple's standard refund policy
• Game Insights Pro features require Apple Health data access and are available on iOS only

9. Intellectual Property

BadyApp and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by the developer and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of any content you submit (such as your name and profile information). By submitting content, you grant us a limited licence to store and display it within the App for the purpose of providing the service.

10. Account Termination

You may close your account at any time via Profile → Close Account within the App. Upon closure:

• Your authentication credentials are deleted immediately
• Your profile data is marked for deletion
• Historical financial records within your groups may be retained in anonymised form for up to 12 months for group accounting integrity

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, without notice or liability.

11. Disclaimers

BadyApp is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

• The App will be available at all times or free from errors
• Data will never be lost or corrupted
• The App will meet your specific requirements

Use of the App is at your own risk. We are not responsible for any loss of data or disruption to your group activities.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer of BadyApp shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of data or group records
• Disputes between group members or admins
• Financial disagreements arising from the internal ledger
• Loss of access due to account suspension

13. Privacy

Your use of BadyApp is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review it to understand our data practices.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via the App. The updated Terms will be effective from the date they are posted. Continued use of the App after changes are made constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
